Lucky tiger
Origin:
USA, Fred Hampel
Description:
Mid-early variety with indeterminate growth and regular foliage, small elongated plum-shaped fruit with a striped green skin.
In terms of taste, a unique tomato of its kind, we are approaching perfection! A very complex flavor type zebra pineapple quite rare for fruits of such small size.
Warning: Fragile variety sensitive to blossom end rot (black bottom) and splitting.
One of the few cherry/cocktail tomatoes that we do not recommend growing in pots.
The Lucky tiger tomato is a variety that will bring you joy but also certainly a bit of frustration if not grown under ideal conditions....
Rating out of 10 (taste): 10/10This variety is one of our favorite cocktail tomatoes, which is why you will find it in the category "Best variety of tomatoes
"
Growing tips:
We grow this variety outdoors, but if you have the option, prefer to grow it in a greenhouse..
