Copper river
Origin:
USA, California (Lynn Brown)
Description:
Excellent mid-season variety, medium to large fruit, meaty copper-colored fruits with red and pink marbling inside, regular foliage.
One of our favorite varieties. A true sugar bomb but unfortunately not very productive (the flowers are fragile, they easily drop in case of high heat)
Rating out of 10 (taste): 10/10
This variety is one of our favorite tomatoes, which is why you will find it in the category "Best variety of tomatoes"
Growing tips:
Although it is an excellent tomato, its fragility leads us to advise you not to grow only this variety (never put all your eggs in one basket).
The copper river tomato is a variety that is a good candidate for grafting. Feel free to read our article on grafting tomatoes.
We grow this variety outdoors, but if you have the opportunity, prefer to grow it in a greenhouse.
