Zolotye gory medeo
Origin:
Kazakhstan (Vitaly Gennadyevich Alifirov)
Description:
Mid-season/late variety with indeterminate growth, medium to large bicolored yellow-red fruit.
Solid variety and vigorous, good production until the cold arrives.
Its name, not easy to pronounce, means: "honey from the golden mountains". And indeed, at full maturity, it develops a rather surprising honey-like taste! assez surprenant!
One of our favorites of 2023, a variety with a surprising taste.
WARNING: the variety changes from green to yellow, then from yellow to red/orange. Wait until fully ripe to allow it to develop its characteristic flavor.
A variety that is a good candidate for grafting. Its yield is exceptional when grafted! Feel free to read our article on grafting tomatoes
