Origin: Russia, brought to America in 1999 by the immigration of Nik Peplenov from Rostov
Description: Mid-season variety with indeterminate growth and regular foliage, medium to large heart-shaped red fruit.
Fruits of varying sizes, a very good meaty tomato with a good old-fashioned tomato flavor.
Can be consumed both raw and cooked.
Relatively sturdy plant, good resistance to cold (but it's still a tomato... don't try to plant them in the snow...))
